For some inexplicable reason my, otherwise awesome, girlfriend loves the UB40 song “Rat in Mi Kitchen”. So for her 40th birthday the other week I put this pic in her card.
“There must be a rat in mi kitchen cos I hear UB40"
That’s “mi” kitchen with a rat in it… Get it?
Just wanted to do something fun and wasn’t going for anything too high detail. Could have spent a ton more time on this but it raised a smile when she received the card so I’m happy with it. Unintentional but I think it kinda has an Aardman Animation feel to it, which is never a bad thing.
Sculpted and rendered in zbrush then I composited together and added the text in photoshop.
