really great work !
hey guys!
sorry for the late reply.
thanks a lot for the comments. it’s always great to hear.
steve: i bought access to your “female portrait” class, a while back. thinking of starting on that soon.
i’d actually didn’t think i would have resurrected this thread, but rather perhaps start a new one, but oh! well… why not just stick with this one.
so here’s some stuff. most of it is wip or sketches. -aaand then there’s abe sapien, which i’ll be remaking.
ps. sorry for reposting old works.

I can dig iiit
I really like the orange fellow. He reminds me a bit of the style Paul Bonner has in his characters. Nice work!
thanks a lot jimmy! mr bonner is a fantastic illustrator.
i forgot to link the time lapses i did of two of the sketches. -so here they are.

Love those shapes, Cheers!
really nice sculpts man!
the first one has a great design! it reminds me of the work of ben mauro
the second sculpt is very vivid, great work
looking forward to more models from you!
wauw! thanks for the kind words all three of you.
Fynn: i have heard the ben mauro reference before, regarding this critter. it wasn’t intended in any way. i really like ben’s work so i don’t mind the resemblance.

Fantastic sculpts Rasmus, I loved watching your videos.
I slowed them right down to normal speed, great to watch you dive through so many ideas before you settle on a form you like to develop.
You should make some more videos, I’d surely watch them.
Have a good one ~ Cheers Bangers :]
Really cool design, like it a lot.
I also appreciate the mixed anatomy that went into this, the only draw back to me is that the scapula seem to drop off too much from where the back/spine seems to be, it looks like its connected to ribcage. Also the diagonal orientation seems a little too much, but just nitpicking, looks great man.
Awesome. I love this critter - it seems alien, yet believable. A rare accomplishment.
