OH MY GOD!!! Way better than your first. U look as if you have mastered Zbrush already. Damn. I seriously love this character and his pose. How did you do the hair so well and the eyes. I had so much trouble with my characters face. I liked doing the clothes for my character though.

Thanks Joe :slight_smile: Take it easy on yourself. Itā€™s your first major model with a program that is known to be a pain in the butt at times! You did excellent for your first time.

He is ever the exemplary specimen of an old fogey! Hair and skin detail is looking really good now too!

Hey everyone!

Itā€™s been a while since I last updated this thread. I just did a bunch more work on the models and am in the process of making them animation ready.

Here are Jed and Hank in their current state (rendered with normal and bump maps in MAX):

I think your characters accomplish their respective goals: they make me smile. Your modeling is wonderful. Cannot wait to see the animation, and I hope their personalities emerge during that process. I absolutely love them. well done.

Ooo Ralph, the normal maps came out really well! Thatā€™s going to look great animated. I want to do the same thing for my characters, save some time.
