Hi Guys! I’ve been a member of ZBrush Central for a while now, but this is my first thread, to share some of my work. :smiley:

KATARINA - LEAGUE OF LEGENDS FAN ART

Despite I’m not a lol player (don’t kill me please) I love the design of the characters and I’ve been admiring the cinematics of lol that blur does since the begining so I wanted to do a character of lol in this case the sexy katarina which style marries between the concepts and the one of the cinematics.

Software used: Maya, ZBrush, Mari, VRay for Maya, Nuke.

The character is fulled rigged so I hope one day this is animated with a kickass combo :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I wasn’t sure about the compression images so here I uploaded a hires image.

Does anyone know why I can’t see my image in the recently uploaded gallery?

I think it’s because you didn’t create thumbnail.but sometimes it doesn’t save that even if you make one.just click on the edit post & choose “Go advance” then create another thumbnail.that will solve the problem.hope this can help you.:wink: :wink: (BTW great job on her clothes.keep it up.):+1:

I was in love with the game presentations and the stunning work done on Nathan Drake of Uncharted 4 by Frank Tzeng, so I did this Fan Art following a next gen pipeline as much as I can inside Marmoset Toolbag.

I also did some expressions for a ‘future use’ of a wrinkle map.

I used: Zbrush, Maya, UvLayout, Mari, Photoshop and Marmoset Toolbag.

Hey, great work on your Nathan Drake fan art, gives me vibes from the first Uncharted in his look. :wink: But how you managed to get that high polygon count for the retopology? I’d love to know, 'cos that the current gen look. ^^

My humble guess is that you retopoed him with a somewhat low poly way by hand, subdivided once, shrinkwrapped and fixed quirkiness in the topology if needed… or? (:

EDIT: Oh, and he also has some cool asymmetric features, most notably his left eye is a bit lower than the right eye. That’s getting more interesting when retopologizing, right? Gotta know!

Sorry for the late response, yes I started the high res in symetric mode, then I did the retopo not as low but not as dense as the final version, after the first pass of retopo I started to manually subdiving and making loops in areas where the deformation is strong.
Back in the HiRes I added the secondary shapes all in asymetric mode and back again to finish and clean the final topology. Not sure if I was clear.

This is some pretty nice work, i really like that League of Legends piece, and the breakdown post is nice too, i always like seeing breakdown posts/step-by-step guides.

Thanks Anthony, glad you like it, I had a lot of fun doing Katarina and the breakdowns.

A work I did on my free time, of this awesome series, really try to catch the feeling of the show and the likeness of the actor.

I used zbrush for the character modelling and sculpting and for the main roof, maya for the assets.

Texturized in Mari and Quixel, rendered in V-Ray and post in Photoshop.
