Radial menu Wacom question...(no modifier keys in radial menu?)

Hi guys,

I switched up my Wacom settings to make working with ZBrush easier (I’m trying to avoid touching the keyboard) and I ran into a problem.

It seems that in the radial menu for the Wacom tablet it doesn’t detect Control + D. I can see it in the window when I go to customize it but the actual command doesn’t work within ZBrush.

Is this a Wacom bug or does it do this for anyone else?

I guess I’m asking if you guys have a radial menu setup are there any modifier keys in the command such as control, shift, option, etc?

I’m not sure if it’s Wacom or Pixologic that needs to fix this, but it’s been a problem for me as well. The radial menu doesn’t work for a lot of things using modifier keys or multiple key presses. It’s a shame too because it’s a great feature if it can be used as intended. Another example is I can’t set it to select the Clay Buildup brush, pressing the key combo B C B on the keyboard works. Setting a radial menu to press B C B doesn’t work like it should or at all. :frowning:

I hope this gets fixed.

I noticed the same thing with the brushes!

Here’s what I’ve been doing as a work around (notice too Wacom got rid of their forums, hence why I asked here):

Take the brush you want, press “control + alt” and click it then assign it a hot key. The number keys appear to be free for the most part. You can then map those in the radial menu. Its an enormous convenience having your most used brushes in the radial menu.

I also made a sub menu for things like symmetry, repeat last, up and down subdivisions, etc.
