rabid monster

I wanted to sculpt a monster that was rabid, but I hate the sight of real drool, so I made this one drooling people,…if you look close, that is what he’s doing…

Now that I’ve got Z4 R2, I’ve got plenty to learn; gonna try some lightcap renders,…I might use Dynamesh to finish out the drooled people…

awesome! and these little guys are a very cool detail. a little bit funny and sad at the same time

This is coming up really well!
I’ll follow your progress

Jeez…

That’s really good and depressing at the same time.

Depressing because apparently transposing is just too simple for you.

Every time I pose something it looks like it just received a very sever case of rickets.

Good for you.

Creative idea also!:+1:

fantastic man! such dynamic pose. Only crit would be to possibly move the right arm forward to give more of a sense of movement/balance. This pose definitely works as well, just wonder what it would be like with the other pose.

Here is a lightcap test (just three lights), and a bit of photoshop paintover…What I’d like to get the hang of next is using the shader mixer to blend different materials,…like specular on the gums, and painting a different level of spec on the forehead,…etc…

thanks for the replys; Snowen 20- I did use transpose,…but not from a symmetrical t-pose…I got the basic layout using zspheres, then refined with sculpting and transpose after that…It is a bit difficult for me to take a model from t-pose and get something dynamic without major resculpting of the joints.

Wayniac- Ye, I had messed with the arms a bit, in the end I went with simply throwin em back…perahps on another character I’ll try a more balanced pose…I’m eager to get some dynamesh stuff goin, so I’ll save it for that.

hahahah love the little people!!

I like your style and sculpt!

(your blog is great too!)
