Is there a way I can turn off “Auto-save”?
Also, I have noticed panel windows close automatically, is there a way I can turn this off?

You can change the time between saves etc. In Preferences.

You really should try reading the documentation for 4R5. 
It’s found in your ZBrush installation’s Documentation folder.
OK……. looks like I back to the problem with windows closing automatically, again…
Tried the last fix from R5 and closing auto groups does not work.
So what am I doing wrong now?
Frustrated again, updates just keep getting worse to work with!
