R2 Problem

Hello,

I am using ZB4R2 and am working on a character model that is divided into Poly Groups and when I change the SubD Level from 5 back to 1 and then select any group and add Edge Loops to it everything works fine until I change the SubD Level back to 5 at which point the newly Edge Looped Poly Group stretches straight down towards the floor of the work area.

I have tried this on multiple models thinking it may be the model, but it keeps happening so I am convinced it is a bug of some sort. A friend of mine took my first model and put it into ZB4 and tried these steps and had no problems. Can anyone suggest what may be happening or tell me if there is a fix for it?

Thanks,

I am using Maya 2012 and am going to try to see if I can just use GoZ to add the edge loops in Maya but would like to have done it in ZBrush. But first I am going to try to check the topology of the model after adding the Edge Loop in ZB4R2.

Oh well this is what happened after adding the edge loops in ZBrush and then using GoZ to Maya 2012 to check the topology which looked fine in Maya, but did this when I used GoZ back to ZBrush 4R2.

Any thoughts on this? Anyone?

Actually that didn’t work for me. The problem still happens.
