R2 crash when load texture

for example;
open R2, make a sphere, make it polymesh, scroll down to the texture map and click it will open "quick pick texture " and aply some texture from the texture pallete then go again in the "quick pick texture " (the left shortcut on your screen ) click on import and import some bitmap image and see the great result

Thanks

If you import the bitmap through the ‘Texture’ menu, this won’t happen. I always import textures through the ‘Texture’ menu.

yes i know that, but i m not you :slight_smile:

i just USE the my shortcut T quck pick - habit

Oh! so you admit it’s not the software…just your habits? :):stuck_out_tongue:

Whats supposed to happen? I feel cheated.

no i mean that many people use quick pick :slight_smile:

If you follow PSTCHOART’s workflow above, ZBrush will save a recovery file then crash to desktop.

@PSTCHOART: Please be more specific in choosing a title for your thread.
“R2 more bugs” is not helpful to others who may experience the same problem that you are reporting, or may have already reported the same item and found a solution.

Thanks zber2 & Spyndel:)

Not here. Tried multiple times. Load spehere, make ps3d, used left panel texture menu, select texture, open menu again, import .BMP (I import that extension specifically), nothing. Can attache texture to a brush, and polypaint with it.

I didnt even think that menu worked for anything more except brush textures though. I thought all texture maps had to be applied through the tool>texture map menu now.

Read his workflow a little closer. Load Sphere, make PM3D, then ‘Tool > Texture Map’ submenu then Texture icon on left side.

Wheee! There it went.

Still, avoidable, as you said.

i edit my Thread , sorry support , i think now it’s ok
