just a quick question, how do you put the brush palette at the bottom of the screen?

Go to Preferences>Custom UI, and hit “enable customize”.
Hold CTRL, and drag the desired element to the desired location in the UI.
Switch off “Enable Customize”
Then Go to Preferences >Config, and “Store Config” to have the new layout remembered at startup, or “Save UI” to save the layout for recall at a later time.
Next to the “help” button in the upper right corner of the interface, are also buttons that cycle through a number of premade alternate layouts that you might find helpful.
