Quick Zbrush retopology question

Hi, hopefully theres a quick question for this, basically I’m currently creating new topology over a high res mocdel in zbrush 4, only problem is the model seems to be transparent in some way as the new topology I am creating over the top of the high res model is being seen from both sides which is making the entire process very difficult! Anyone know how i can turn this transparency off? Thanks!

Image below shows the actual mesh to the left and to the right is the view I’m working with which shows the wireframe from both sides, which will make finishing this model a real pain. Any help is appreciated

ZBrush 4? Are you using the trial version? This is fixed in ZBrush 4R2. In ZBrush 4.0, I would suggest you use the Appended ZSphere Method to retoplogize.

[edit] If you don’t want to use the Appended ZSphere Method, you can go to Preferences > Draw and change Front Opacity to 0.95 and Back Opacity to 0.01.
This was the other workaround but, the problem is, some of your topo lines get buried into the mesh and the cursor still wants to snap to points on the opposite side.
IMO, this isn’t as desirable as the first suggestion.

I’m having this same problem and i was wondering if anyone has a solution. I tried changing the front and back opacity as suggested but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. i can still see the wireframe on the backside of my model. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Hey yeah I tried that above suggestion way back myself, doesn’t quite fix the problem like you said, upgrading to the newest version of zbrush will probably fix it, i never did that myself so i cant say for sure, if not though zbrush 3 doesnt have this problem at all, I have zbrush 3.1 on my laptop which i was able to switch to for this, so yeah, bascially try using zbrush 3.1 or try upgrading to the latest version of 4. Hope that helps
