Quick symmetry question...

I did a little searching for the answer to this, but thought it might be quicker just to ask here.

If I’m modeling a character and mask out (hiding the rest of the model) one hand to work on so I can rotate and zoom on that particular part, how do I KEEP symmerty on the other hand? I can easily mask out everything EXCEPT the hands, but that makes zooming in and working very difficult because it’s rotating around both hands.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

hide everything but the one hand, do your sculpting, then when finished, unhide, mask everything but the opposite hand and use Tool: Deformation: smart resym

also when sclupting you might want to turn on Transform: Local tranformations to rotate around where you’re doing your work

Thanks a bunch!
