Do people not read the instructions for installation? You’re supposed to turn off your virus checkers.
If people attempting to upgrade right now are causing the issue to “snowball”, perhaps a good idea to remove the giant “Available Now” banner from the front page?
Unless you turn off your Virus checker permanently, that file (nc.exe) will ultimately be quarantined on or after install (at least by MS Windows Defender–I haven’t run it against McAfee or NAV since this roll-out seems borked.) It may be a false positive, but the file is matching a virus signature…
Depending on your IT department, you may not be able to just “turn off” your Virus checker.

This is business as usual with Zbrush installs/upgrades. Active antivirus is often problematic for their installers, frequently returns false positives, and is always recommended to be disabled during the operation. If a previous version of Zbrush has been installed, then whoever installed it already went through this.
If an AV issue persists after installation/activation, whitelist ZB or the offending file in your AV.
I get the ‘no license found’ too when I sign in through zbrush.
I should have waited, maybe came on here to read the beginning of the thread. But I thought ‘its out, I wanna play and its available for those who have a license’. So maybe we should have recieved an email warning us not to download the update.
I have deactivated 2018.1 so I can’t use zbrush until this is resolved. Silly to jump in, but its my favourite toy! s

Do I have to deactivate 2018 before I activate 2019? It thinks i’m trying to activate 2018 on the license page.
Your serial number was for ZBrush 2018 and that will work with 2019. You do not get a new serial number. However, we do recommend that you deactivate ZBrush 2018 before you activate 2019.

Running into a slight problem, deactivated 2018 and activated 2019. When I restart 2019, everything is reset and Zbrush keeps asking me to activate again, but cant because its allready using the serial.
With ZBrush closed, try going to your ZBrush 2019 folder and running the Pixologic Deactivation Manager. At the lower left corner of its window, click Reset. Confirm when prompted. Now launch ZBrush and activate again.
Where did people read to deactivate 2018?
This is a standalone install isn’t it ?
Why would I deactivate what is working ? (I always leave prior version operational until I am satisfied the new version is stable)

I had the same no license error. Then suddenly it let me activate 2019.
When I closed and reopened 2019, it told me to reactivate it for some reason. When I log into my Pixo ID from the prompt it says that I activated my copy of 2018…
When I go back to 2019 it says the license is for the wrong product (probably because it somehow reverts to 2018 now).
