Q: What is the difference between an attachment and an icon?
A: An attachment goes into your post. This will include your images or any files such as materials that you would like to share with other users. An icon will not appear in your post. Instead, it appears at the top of the Main forum in the “Recently Uploaded” section.
Q: How do I insert an image into my thread?
A: Please see THIS THREAD for detailed instructions.
Q: Why didn’t my post create a thumbnail in the Main forum?
A: ZBC no longer automatically creates thumbnails when you insert an image into your post. You must now specifically create one. Immediately under the “Attachments” section where you uploaded your image there is a new section for creating your icon. It gives you several features to help get the best thumbnail possible.
Q: How do I create an icon?
A: Please see the second half of THIS THREAD for detailed instructions.
Q: Why are images small when I insert them into my post?
A: This is only while editing the post. When you submit the post, your images will appear full-sized in the actual post.
Q: My image appears sharpened or resampled when it’s displayed in my post.
A: Any image that is wider than the thread format can accommodate will be resampled for display in-line. However, clicking it will open an overlay that displays the image full sized. If you post an image that will have this happen, simply add a note to “Click image to view full size.”
Q: My JPG loses its embedded color profile when uploaded.
A: If this is a concern for you, please use the PNG format instead. This format sidesteps the problem of color profiles.
Q: What happened to the Thread Gallery and User Gallery features?
A: Those will be brought back in the near future.
Q: I want to add a video to my post, how do I do it?
A: If you’d like to embed your videos (Youtube, Veoh or Vimeo) use these codes:
