Questions & Troubleshooting for Image Plane 4

Look in the Draw Pallette

On an additional note, I loaded the pre-made Skull Tool from the DVD where it has the skull views on the intersecting Reference Planes, and the PolySphere Tool unified to it. I cannot figure out how to have the Skull SubTool active and see thru it to view the reference images…do I just have to click back and forth between the Planes SubTool and the Skull SubTool to see compare? I tried turning on the BPR settings, playing with visibility and stuff, but still nothing worked.

Can someone provide a link to a lesson about this stuff? Thanks!

Reference images are loaded via the Draw palette. The skull is separate isn’t it?

You’re using an old method. As Doug says, the best way is to use the grids in the Draw palette, rather than that plane subtool method. There’s an outline of what to do here: http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/reference-images/grids/

Also, if you first load the DefaultSphere project from the Project tab in Lightbox you could then load a skull grid setup included with ZBrush from the Lightbox>Grids tab.
