My first question is about maps. I’m making lopoly stones and rocks. In zbrush I’m making normals and textures + photoshop. I’ve made cracks on one stone by alpha maps and want to create map of alphas like normal map or color texture map. I’d like to put this map over stone texture in photoshop and add some effects, so the cracks seems like they are deep. How can I take off (create) alpha maps texture?
is it cavity map for that?
Create a low poly base model in another app (blender is free) + UVs
Import it to zbrush, subdivide it, do sculpting.
Create a displacement map and export it. Export normals + textured model (flip UVs vertically first)
Bake textures in another app.(blender)
Its the best way. My favorite workflow for this.

A problem with low poly rocks is that they look rather soft. Any ideas?
im not sure i get what you’re asking:
“want to create map of alphas like normal map or color texture map”
can you be more clear?
sorry dudes, It was cavity map, what I needed. Everything is perfect now.
PS. I have lopoly model unwrapped I just crate textures and normals.
Now my answer, how can you create a cavity map?
Use ZMapper please
