Hello Everyone ! I’m quit new in zbrush, I have a common problem in zbrush & that is …. In Zbrush is there any option to delete single object (among multiple objects in a marged sub tool)… For exmp. I want to delete arm / eyeball from my model & it is also separate from main model.
|In a merged subtool YES!

in a merged subtool all subtools are PolyGroups, you can see this by turning on PolyFrame (Shift F) COLORS!!! YAY!
The super easy way is this:
- Hold down Control and Shift and click on the PolyGroup you want to separate. The rest of your object should vanish.
- Hold down Control and click on the Canvas, this will mask the part you are working on.
- Hold down Shift and Control and click on the Canvas and everything reappears with your part still masked (a very useful thing!).
- In the SubTool Palette, under Split, hit Split Masked Points.
You can also do this en masse by using things like Group Split, but if you are like me you might have ten thousand polygroups and live to regret it, or just get a warning from ZBrush saying NOPE!

Thanks a lot MealeaYing…it works…
Hi, I’m trying to make a Tri part belt but I have a little problem which is that when i use the curve mode with Shift to get a loop arround the mesh I want to insert my belt, the 1st and 3rd part are overlaping, when I try to draw a curve without loop, I can see that the begining and the end of my curve are not snaped to the end and the begining of my mesh so when the curve has to weld, first and last point are ok with the curve but the mesh is overlaping, How can I fix it ? I made my mesh in Maya, exported for zbrush. Thanks

Hello to all! Because this thread is dedicated to IMM brushes, I dare to re-adress my recent question here. It’s related to textured or polypainted IMM brushes like rivets or stitches on clothing. In short, I want to add pre-textured details made from IMMs to pretextured or polypainted meshes and make diffuse, displacement and normal maps at the same time. Is it possible in Zbrush R7? My full question I asked is here - http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?207283-Use-textured-IMM-brushes-to-make-diffuse-and-disp-normal-maps-at-once-possible . Should I use all polypainted - both clothing and brushes, or there is a way to apply premade textures on them and then combine all the textures in a single diffuse or displacement map?
