Questions about model building techniques

I was wondering if there is going to be problems for me later when I start using the transpose feature on my sculpt of a human figure. I’ve been using Dynamesh in the early stages of model building and it has fused the insertion point of the latissimus with the inner part of the arm where they naturally touch on the relaxed figure. I fear that this area will become improperly deformed when it comes time to pose the figure as the lats will get stretched out as I pose the arms. I tried to fix the problem area but it was getting messy and looking like it was going to be too much work. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this? Is it fixable? I’m a traditional artist and have never used the computer for 3d art before. Thanks.

I should probably build my 3d models in the traditional way with outstretched arms to avoid this issue in the future.

It may or may not be an issue. You can always keep sculpting after it is posed, so you should be able to fix any issues and sculpt in a better sense of the muscles deforming to create the specific pose.

Thanks for the info, Cyrid. I was about to trash my sculpt and start over! I keep forgetting that you can just fix things along the way fairly easily with Zbrush.
