Question: Is there a way to bookmark a specific view

Is there a plugin or an intrinsic function in Zbrush 3.5R3 whereas the user can set bookmarks for views. For example a user could “bookmark” a specific view focusing on a three-quarter view of the face, this bookmark could be called “face”. Another bookmark could be called “zoomed out view of the front of the body”, and maybe another called “rear end”. Then when the user needs to jump to a specific view he could choose that view from the bookmarks.

I could come up with any number of situations where I would use a function like this. But currently I could find this extremely useful when the art director comes over to my work station and he’s review my current work. Its pretty inefficient and sloppy “saying hold on let me zoom in on this body part”.

If this type of thing already exists, please excuse my ignorance and point me to it. Thanks -kip

under the document > zapplink properties you can specify front/back/top/bottom and custom views of your current tool

when you move your object around, these button will then jump back to the views you’ve assigned

edit: make character sheet is also very useful for exporting a psd of your character without a background

brilliant!

Also, here’s a simple plugin with source, for storing and recalling 8 model views (over multiple sessions)…
