Question, cry of help

[COLOR=white][FONT=Calibri]Hello
I’m a potential new ZBrush-user .

I project to organize a seminar to learn and apply ZBrush for me and my team (6 person).
We are a sculpture departement of a theater and we realize the the whole area of sculptor work as well as make-up works.

Now my bosses want to know more about ZBrush, want to know what ZBrush really can.

Is ZBrush only a tool for visualization or is it possible to export or import data from other programs like AutoCAD or Autodesk 3ds Max?
Is it for example possible to form an object on a determined measure, scale it more largely or smaller?
Is it possible to print or to mill an object on the basis of data from ZBrush?

Who can help me with good arguments, links, reasons or more to invest in ZBrush?

you can import export models from and to zbrush. however while working in zbrush there is nothing like a real world scale (at least i believe so). but once you export stuff to 3dsmax or maya or something like it you can scale your models to your needs.

keep in mind though that zbrush sculpts are usually build of millions of polys and tools like 3dsmax wont handle that so easily.
so youll need to put extra work into your models to decimate polys.

there is a plugin that lets you export zbrush sculpts for printing purpose but i never used it so i dont know if it is failsafe or not.

in any case you should get a trial version and see for yourself
