I’ve used Smart Resym on my (first) model alot, but now when i try to do it it says: Symmetry result: 0.00179% Symmetry points found. Symmetry map was not stored.
So that obviously means that it can’t be Smart resymt for some reason, but what reason??
I can’t go to a lower subdivision level I think because I saved the tool in a high level or something…
PLEASE HELP ME OUT!
You could try to get those subdivision levels back by using Tool>Geometry>Reconstruct Subdiv
Another thing you could try would be to use ReSym before Smart ReSym. Sometimes this works.

but unfortunatly the problem is still not solved…
When I push the reconstruct subdiv button nothing happens…at all,
and when I push the ‘resym’ button, the exact same thing happens as when I pushed the SMART resym button…
Super late reply but I had the same problem. Just make sure UVs are enabled under texture menu and the mesh cannot contain triangles. Hope that helps.
