Question about RAM

I have 4GB of fast RAM at the moment and I am considering to top up to 8GB but it has to be different make which is a bit slower as it will not fit otherwise. I don’t want to upgrade my computer as yet, I am waiting for next gen of CPU’s from intel.

Question is, will I see much or any difference if I add more ram? I know that ZBrush is 32bit so I am wondering if it will be able to use it. I have 64bit Win7.

You will see a major increase.

Zbrush will have access to a full 4gb of RAM now instead of the 2.6 or so after OS and other stuffs running.

Even with slower ram you should see a nice performance increase.
