Hello 
I just ordered an all new PC from Dell… the Studio XPS 435 Tower with an i7-920, 6GB tri channel 1066 Ram, and an ATI 4870 Vid Card, and Vista Home Premium i believe.
I am wanting to slap Windows 7 on it the second it arrives but i wanted to ask here first to make sure there wouldnt be any major compatibility issues.
I tried using the search function but didnt really see an answer to my question.

as far as I know zbrush 3.1 acts funny on windows 7. I know it wasn’t made for it, but I am pretty sure that zbrush 4 will be compatible with windows 7…but for now. If you’re a hardcore Zbrush freak…try it out on 7, if it doesn’t work or acts too wonky then boot it up on vista or xp again.
Actually i am just getting into Zbrush now, so i may now notice things that aren’t working correctly… that’s why i was hoping some more experienced members may be able to chime in on this one 
I wonder if it would help to run it in that XP Emulation mode? Hmm
