Question about laying out UV's

I’m working on a class assignment and I was laying out the UV’s for a building in Maya using Planar mapping. But I was wondering if it would matter if I used an automatic map instead, would it effect the displacements and textures that I directly sculpt and paint in Zbrush? Would it give me errors in Maya?

it will give you a headache inside MAYA most likely.

Yeah I already attempted to put it into Zbrush and it seems like it doesn’t work. Unless someone else can be so kind to give me a good explanation why it doesn’t or will work. Logically it makes sense to me though…:qu:
