Question about changing uvs

Little question about changing uv´s

I modeled a head in lightwave and allso made uv´s there. After exporting it as object i sculpted it a bit in z-brush. everything works fine so far.
Now i changed the uv´s for the same model in lightwave (better unwrap)and saved it as obj
Now the question is: can i bring that sculpting from the first model to the second with new uv´s?
I tried it with “store morph target” (in lowest subd) then imported the new model and tried “switch” , but don´t worked…getting weiered model.
Is it even possible to do it? Its the same model, same polycount but different uv.

You should be able to go to level 1, store a morph target, import the new UV model, switch morph targets, then return to higher levels.

If your model explodes when you go back up in level, then something in what you did in the other app changed the point order of the model. For example, there might have been a difference in your export settings.

I think i tweaked it a bit in lightwave becouse i thought that it don´t matter when i only move some points and don´t add more geometry in it.
Thought that the model only have to have the same poly and point count

now i used the same model as for starting in zbrush and made a new uv, but it don´t works…the same model with the old uv´s is working fine :confused:

k…my fault…i exported from lightwave with some edge selected…think this was the error

everything is working fine now
