push canvas back when sculpting?

i put my reference on the canvas by importing a texture and croping and filling the canvas. now half my model is clipped by my canvas, anyone know how i push my canvas back so i can actually work on my model?

You could use the Z slider in Document>Layers.

Or you could activate the gyro in Move mode, and click outside the model on the canvas. Drag up/down to change its depth.

Or before drawing the model you could set the Picker>Z slider to a high negative value like -1000. That tells ZBrush to draw the model closer to the camera rather than at the pixol depth of the filled layer.

thanks again aurick.
