puleeeze explain ShadowBox rect stroke (solved!)

Forgive my dumb-ness, but I can’t figure out how to make a mask (for use in ShadowBox) start out as a square.

I’ve changed to the new “SelectRect” brush. ShadowBox is enabled, of course, and working with regular masks. Then, according to the popup window, I simply push Ctrl+Shift and a rect/square mask should become active?

I get a ClipRect boz (green) instead, which of course when applied, clips part of the ShadowBox itself and creates nothing. I want to create a square MASK for use as creating a ShadowBox object.

Yes, I read the docs, and followed the instructions, but my noob-ness hinders. Any help appreciated…

never mind. I figured it out. Duh…sorry for the post.
