proplem with displacement

hi for everyone , after applying displacement map in maya and render by mental ray with approximation applied i chocked by that result anyone know why ?

i found that checking feature displacement option is the responsable when i unchecked it render on poly become normal but when converting to sub.d the problem aqppear again in maya i directly go to the chanel box i unchecked the disp. option but the problem still as it is any one know the answer ?
