Projection problem

I’m just starting to dabble in Zbrush 3.1, and I am having an issue with projecting my old model onto my retopologized skin. The original zsphere did not have the mouth, or eyes cut out of the model, it was just concaved zspheres. When I retopologized, I did cut out the mouth and eyes, but now when I project the old geometry onto the new mesh, I am having some warping issues with the mouth. Everything else transfered perfectly, I’m just wondering what I can do to fix the mouth area. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

mask the areas that are having a problem with the projection. then project.

you can also create a morph target before you project. Project the mesh, then switch to the morph brush and brush back to the morph target on the trouble areas.

Thanks goast666, that’s a great tip for next time. I actually exported the original model into Maya and corrected the geometry. Then I imported the mesh back into Zbrush, appended the fixed model to the original model, and “projected all”. I then appended that new fixed model to the retopologized model, and “projected all”. Everything transfered correctly.
