Projection on rigged mesh explodes

Hello all. I have scowered the forums and I’ve not found the answer that I need quite yet. My issue is that I’ve got a mesh that I’ve sculpted and I have rigged. I position it and when I “preview” the mesh at detail level 4 the detail I want is not there… So, I turn on the project and preview again and I get an ugly mess. I’ve done lots of reserach, but nothing that directly hits on my topice.

I’ve made sure the normals are fine. I’ve messed with the projection settings including the Ires, Mbr, MP, MC. And I get the following image.

The first is how the sculpted mesh is, then the projected mesh and then the normal “preview” mesh. I’d be willing to post the .ztl if you need.

try using project all in the subtool panel instead of a zsphere project.

In the subtool palet there is only one tool so there is nothing to project on. I can’t make an adaptive skin of it because then I won’t have the pose to project onto correctly.

So, there has to be a setting that is making things go haywire. Any other ideas people?
