Hi guys,
When I use the DragRetc stroke in ProjectionMaster, I can’t rotate my alpha, like in ZB 2. Is there a setting that needs to be changed? It only changes scale, but not the rotation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use the Directional Brush with the DragRect stroke.
Which brush would that be? I have @ 20 listed, but not a directional brush. The website says there’s over 30? Am I missing something?
Thanks again

These ae the brushes I have:

Directional Brush can be found in the 2.5D brushes section of the Tool panel.
Let us know if you still struggle to find it and I’ll post a pic.
You stated that you’re using Projection Master.
The Brush palette is used when working with a model in Edit mode.
When you have dropped a model with PM, it is no longer in Edit mode. Therefore, you can’t use the contents of the Brush palette. Instead, you use the various features in the Tool palette, which includes the Directional Brush.
Hi guys thanks for your help and patience.
This is what I’m trying to do. I have a character finished and UV unwrapped. I’m adding detail to the high poly version in ZB3 for a normal map using Zmapper. I’m using projection master with custom alphas for the details. Hohever, I can’t rotate the alpha to place it in the correct position on the model.
I’ve done this in ZB2 by click/dragging the mouse, first for correct size, then move the mouse again for the correct rotation and then release it. I would do this several times and then drop it out of PM. Then I would have to rotate the model to a new postion that needed detail added to it and repeat the process.
I hope this made sense. I’ve added pics for examples.
Helmet for example.

Confusing, huh? Aurick is not talking about the brushes in the Brush Palette, he’s referring to the 2.5d brushes in the Tool Palette.
After you enter Projection Master, you are working in 2D so the tool turns into the Simplebrush, by default, which is non-directional (the blue thing in the Tool Palette on the upper right of your screengrab) Click on the Simplebrush and then on the rollout select DirectionalBrush… which will do what you want.

Sweeeeeeeeet!
Thanks Svengali, you just saved me a ton of work.
Ahhh, the miracle of ZBrushCentral.
