Projection Master Question...

When I project an obj from my tool pallet I can go into Preview and Move the obj in and out from selecting the crosshair in Preview, I can also Rotate the obj…but it only rotates in a CW or CCW motion along the Y axis… Is there a way to rotate the obj along the Z axis while in Projection Master??

Yes…but it probably wont help you.

In PM, after you have drawn out your obj as a brush stroke, select rotate on the top shelf, which will deselect Draw. This brings up the old rotate manipulator, and you can drag in the interior of it, or along its spokes to rotate the object freely.

But PM projects detail perpendicular to the viewing plane. It’s great for stamping detail in a surface, but it only does simple up /down elevation. Extreme elevations and overhanging geometry are not going to produce good results

What you probably want, is the mesh insert brush instead, which allows you to insert actual geometry into the surface, to position as you please.

Yes, thank you…I believe I want to use the mesh insert brush. I can’t figure out how to load the insert mesh into the mesh insert brush for ZB4?? I have the insert mesh as a sub tool along with my regular model, I open the mesh insert brush…but under the Brush panel I am not finding anything for me to link to my sub-tool??
Can you assist either in description and/or a pic?
Thanks

ahhhh… I just found it.
