Good afternoon! I have a problem in Projection Master. Even putting it on DEFORMATION and DOUBLE SIDE it just textured on one side of the object. Has anyone seen this?
This is a known issue. As a workaround, turn on ‘Double’ in ‘Tool > Display Properties’ before you go into Projection Master.
Wonder why they did not fixed it yet…
Same problem with zapplink
Problem persist from 4r5
Thanks
Piosio
ZAppLink is fixed in 4R6.
For me is still working like in 4r5
To get it work i have to mask area that i want to paint and hide unmasked then export to zapplink
Otherway i get result like on picture above
Thanks

Thanks guy!
Piosio,
That’s a limitation of ZAppLink (and Projection Master) and nothing to do with the Double-sided feature. The reason that happens is that both ZAppLink and Projection Master work on a 2D version of your model. If your model has parts that overlap (such as the arms overlapping the body) the plugins have no way of distinguishing between the surfaces.
Thank you for explanation.
I think it should not be a limitation anymore as guys were able to develop “group front” (creating polygroup for all visible polygons facing the camera) probably its easy for them now to develop something like “mask front” (masking all visible polygons facing the camera) with such a feature ZApplink would be able to distinguish surfaces
Thanks
