Projection Master loosing deformation texture

Hello

I have been using Project Master successfully today. But now Project Master does not behave as before. I have attempted restarting ZBrush, initialising ZBrush and even restarting my PC but PM does not function as before. I am pretty sure the sequence I am following is exactly the same as when it was working.

I am doing the following…

Load tool
Load up ztl file
Place active 3D object on the canvas
Press projection master
Deselect colors, materials
Select Deformation
Deselect Normalized
Press Drop Now
Using an Alpha, with texture off and DragRect Stroke i add some texture to my 3D model
Press Projection Master
With the same options as before I select Pick Up Now
The texture is lost and the model reverts back to what it was before the Projection Master Drop Now.

Anyone any ideas on what is going wrong here?

Thank you

Lin

Turning Color off and leaving only Deformation on means that PM won’t paint texture at all. PM will ignore all color that you paint, and will only deform the model’s geometry based on depth that you paint on the dropped model. If you’re not painting depth (in other words, if Zadd is turned off while you paint on the dropped model) then you’re not going to see anything happen when you pick up the model.

If you want to paint texture, you need to leave Color on.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Not sure if I explained myself well enough. I was not painting texture but using zadd with an alpha to put texture on the model. I have not got to colouring this model yet. I did solve the problem by reverting to a older ztl file but am not sure what I was doing wrong to cause this problem

Best regards
