Im trying to clean up the textures of a female character model Im working on using the projection master. However whenever I seem to pick up the model again all the areas I had just fixed (using the clone tool, rgb, only editing the color) come back up all greyed out.
Anyone out there have an idea whats going on here?
is that just a change in material between the two areas?
It does look that way, but when I fill layer with another material the dark area stays polypainted on the model. Really nothing I seem to try has any effect on it

Does the same error happen in Zapplink?
Are you using layers?
looks like you have two models, a sort of superposition…
Soooo it stopped happening all by itself, and I have no idea why…
Ive restarted zbrush a dozen times on this so who the hell knows why this time was different.
Basically I opened up zbrush, made a sphere 3D, polymeshed it, activated polypaint, dropped, colored, and picked it up and for the first time in days it looked normal…
naturally I then tried it on the girl with much skepticism and it F%&*ing worked. This is maddening, yet Im psyched to be able to get back to work.
I do not consider this issue resolved however, as it has been happening to my coworker as well and we’d like to know why.
Anyone else having weird projection master issues?

Glad it started working at least. Great looking sculpt by the way. And on that note…how come only the nipple is what is considered explicit? Men have nipples. If the nipple was the naughty part, shouldn’t that be blurred out on men as well?
So doesn’t this lead us to the conclusion that it is actually the breast that is inappropriate and not the nipple? So why is it when a nipple is showing it’s porn and when the breast is showing it’s…well…a low cut shirt. Eh, my 2cents.
Well I didnt really think a nipple would offend, I just wanted to get my post up on the questions board asap and figured it wasnt worth taking the chance. So its censored
