Projection Master is not capturing data

Here is the process I am doing:

  • Import textures/photographs intended for use in project master painting
  • Create new blank texture and select this texture
  • Drop model to project Master (selecting only fade and color)
  • Apply imported texture using directional brush and draw style to drag rect with RGB maxed
  • Pick up model

Nothing … nothing has been recorded to the blank texture.

Not seeing what step I am missing.

Please assist/advise.

Basically, nothing about the painting tools or texturing is working as the various video tutorials are showing they should so with the crashing I am having, I am thinking this must be a technical issue … hmm … never had these types of issues with V2.0.

Are you using 3.12B?
In 3.12B you assign a texture to a mesh (a subtool) by using the Tool:Texture Map subpalette, not the Texture palette.

I am unsure. I am on the Macintosh side of my computer at the moment making a winclone image of my Vista drive. I will check after it is completed (about an hour or so) thanks for the tip on the methodology.

I am extremely rusty (3 years since last real usage of ZB), but don’t remember having these issues before.

Yes, after reading your post again I can say yes … I am accessing the texture through the tool palette. I have not looked yet, but I do remember that was the instruction on the tutorial I was watching.

Ok - it must have been a corrupted something or other because after I restarted and reopened the program it worked fine. False alarm:).
