Projecting Polypaint from one mesh to another. Answered!

Hi all,

I was wondering what the workflow was to project only the polypaint of one object onto another without deforming the mesh to the other.

The ‘Project All’ button under sub-tools transfers topology as well as polypaint even when just having the Rgb button on and no other.

Any tips appreciated. ZB4r2

Apologies…posted this in the wrong thread. Please feel free to move or delete.

You can use the Project All button. Simply store a morph target first then switch the morph target once you’ve done the Project All - the sculpt will revert to its previous state and the polypaint will remain.
