A client wants to correct a model for printing. I can import that model via 3dmax, build a mesh over the model and project it. I can project the geometry but not the color/texture. I followed a youtube tutorial but it still wont work. It doesn’t matter if the rgb mode is on or off orif colorize is actuve. I save a morph target before projection so I can send the geo details back to zero. The meshes are open. I have given my mesh uvs. I cant get it to work. Any ideas?

textures don’t get projected, but polypaint does.

convert your texture to polypaint on your original mesh before you project.
