hi, i’m meeting an issue with the “Project All” of the subtool menu, here some pictures :

As u can see, there’s artefacts (here it’s at level 6 subdivision, it works perfectly with the 5 first levels)

My process, from what i read on some threads :

  • project from first level to the highest
  • modify the PA blur, with multiple of 8 values
  • hidding some pieces

However it still works wrongly.

projections don’t always work on the entire mesh. Differences in the distance between one area of the mesh and another are the cause of this typically.

Before you do the HP projection store an MT.
project as you normally would.
after the projection switch the MT back, taking note of errors in the projection.
Then use the Morph brush to bring back the details in the areas that are projecting correctly.

Then re-sculpt any areas where the mesh wouldn’t project correctly.

i found a solution earlier : decrease the distance parameter, and it works perfectly

shame on me i haven’t try this first…
