Production pipe line?

Hi,

I am really confused about the pipe line in which u should work.

I am doing a low poly character. I am modeling the high res in T pose. I thought after I get most of the structure there ie the muscel etc I can retopolgies him, But i cant do it in zbrush bc when i do that it seems to double the amount of polys i remake him from (if that makes sense)

Then pose him and export normal maps outs etc.

Please can someone help :s

Can you give your topology steps here and what do you mean by doubling the amount. Can you put some images up that show this?
