Problems with Zmapper and normal map (images inside)

Hello, I know this is already posted, but I can’t find a solution for the problem. I have the problem when loading the normal map in 3D Max 2009.

This is the sculpt in Zbrush. I used “GUVTiles” for the UVW, and “Flip Image Vertically” in Zmapper for the normal.

This is the normal map:

And this is the problem (areas highlighted):

And all the muscle details don’t appear.

I have the subdivision at 6, in 3D Max I get a low-res normal mapping. The image is at 4000x4000. Why I get that?

Thanks for reading.

Ensure there is sufficient Seam Overpainting in ZMapper; and make sure image mip mapping is off in Max.

Thanks, that worked

But the normal map is a bit strange…

Edit: I have the same problem with the diffuse. How to do Overpaint seams with Colorize?

You appear to be using an Object Space normal map. Generally, character models should have Tangent Space normal maps applied to them. When you start ZMapper, begin by opening a suitable configuration file, like:-

3DS Max7_TangentSpace_BestQuality.zmp

and then increase the Seam Overpainting value.

For the colour map, seam overpainting is adjusted in Tool/Texture/FSBorder and the button next to it.

Thank you Rory_L for the reply. That worked, again
