Some other attempts and I had understand that the problem is to use z-mapper with polygroups! Any advice? I simply click on “UV groups” and turn on the wire-frame, then ctrl_shift on one piece of geometry and use zmapper
thank you
and the uv’s are ok, because for experiment I have used a simple cube and placed each single face in a 0-1 space, then I’ve exported in zbrush and increase the number of polys.
I’ve attached an example file, let me know if it works with you.
thanks!

ZMapper requires that you split the model into subtools for each mapping region. You then need to generate the normal maps one at a time, for each subtool.
