Problems with Transpose Master in 3.5R3 :(, need some help

Hello everybody
I was creating a character with several subtools and then used transpose master to pose him.
After I was happy with the pose, I saved the pose mesh as an OBJ to be sure I won’t lose it if ZBrush crashed while bringing the pose to the actual model with the subtools.
Seems to have been a good idea, because it DID crash.
So, now I try again, but without sucess.
Here is what I do:
I open the normal, orginial ZTL with all the seperate subtools, take everything down to it’s lowest SubDiv, and then go to “transpose master” and hit the “T Pose>SubT” Button. That asks for a file and I pick the posed OBJ.
But then… nothing happens.
No error, no message, no anything… ZBursh simply seems to freez and does not do anything :(, the pose is not applied to the original model :frowning:

What can I do?
I don’t wanna pose everything AGAIN… especially because Transpose Master seems not to work anyway… :frowning:

Or is it my mistake? If so, how to do it right?

Thanks a lot,
Oliver

I had the same problem today. I didn’t use another obj tho’, it’d just hang after I clicked on TPose -> SubT. I think it ran out of memory. This is what worked for me:

The system seemed to hang when the level one meshes for each subtool had a high polycount. You could try making sure you reproject higher subd each subtool so that the level one mesh of each subtool does not exceed a few thousand quads.

Hope this helps, I know it’s been a while since you posted this.

me too…what could be the problem…i have a 4gb dual core 2,2 ghz machine…
i 've also deleted every division so i’m posing at the low mesh…it freezes everytime…hmmm did you found a solution in the meantime oli4d
