you can set your brush to ignore backfacing geometry.
thx but where can i do this ?
In the Brush palette, there is an option for Backface Masking.
thanks but it doesnt help
in the picture you can see my problem i paint on the front side of the ear but the backside is also deformed

Mask off the back of the ear so it can’t be changed
i can´t mask only the back cause when i try this both sides are masked
Turn on backface masking under Brush menu.
… or you could make a PolyGroup of the back of the ears which you’d like to mask off. So when you come to working on them you can hide everything else, mask them off, show all, blur the mask if needed and then do what you need to do without fear of effecting the other side.
Back face masking seems to invert the masking when you Alt-click with a brush to edit the mesh. Masking it off will make things a bit easier.
