Problems with textures

Hello everyone,
I’m working on a new model that I’ll have to export texture maps and whatnot for a low poly model. I’m working with several subtools and the first one I did the work on worked fine, no problems at all.

Now i’m working on the second tool in the model (the hair). I’ve imported a UV mapped obj into zbrush (basically the subD1 exported to max, uvmapped then reimported to add UV maps to the mesh while retaining all the subD levels). I then polypainted it and got it to a point where I want to export the model.

Has anyone come accross this issue and have a fix for it?

My guess would be that something is going on in the the UVs. You might want to load up a UV tile pattern like this one:

and try applying it in ZB to a clone of your object and see how it looks.
