I’ve been trying to solve this for the last couple of hours but I can’t find a solution.
Lets say I import a mesh into zbrush, I activate the Smooth uv button before subdividing, and after that I suvdivide a couple of times. If then I export that to max, I can see the Uvs are smooth, as I should expect. The problem is, after I close and open zbrush, and if I load this same file, and do the same export to max, the Uvs are not smooth anymore.
It looks like the smoothed uvs reset everytime you close, or even when you do any other actions, like deleting a subtool. I’ve tried lots of things, like reimporting the low res mesh, pressing Suv, dividing and using project to get the same shape I had in the highest level. It may work if I export the file just after that, but uvs will eventually reset, no matter what.
Anybody had this problem? Do you know a way to have the UVs smoothed and to keep them that way?
