What is the size of your map?

What is the polygon count of the model at the highest level?

What are your settings in the Tool>Displacement Map menu? If you’re using Adaptive, are you also setting Tool>SubTool>PA Blur to 8 as recommended?

Are you restoring your base mesh prior to creating the displacement map or are you just dropping back to level 1 and creating it immediately?

-Im just dropping back to 1 and creating it inmmediately.
I need Store and then switch in level 1?

Thnxs aurick for your time.

At this point you will need to store a morph target and then re-import your original level 1 model. This will restore your base mesh while still allowing you to switch morph targets to return to higher levels without hurting them.

Restoring your base mesh before creating your displacement map is a key step in map creation. It’s the only way to ensure that the map will be created for the exact model that it will be applied to. If you just drop to level 1 and create your map without restoring your base mesh the values will be skewed because the level 1 version of the model is going to be smaller than your original model. (Due to the smoothing and contraction that takes place when you divide a model being pushed back to level 1 when you return to it.)

Awesome, thnxs so much

Tnxs so much aurick
