Problem With Ztool

I created a character head and saved it as a Ztool. Now when I go to load the Ztool I can’t edit or continue sculpting it. After I load the tool I select “T” for edit, I select the rake or move sculpt tool and try to sculpt where I left off, and nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

first try to clear all masks, even if its not masked, see if that helps.
