Problem with Zbrush to 3ds Max displacement&normal map transfer

Hello all!

As the title states, i have problem with transfering normal and displacement maps from Zbrush to 3ds Max. I manage to extract the maps from Zbrush without problem, but it seems that the level of detail in Max is somewhat impaired.

I realise that with conversions such as this, you can’t expect exactly the same level of detail, but i loose aproximately 20% of small bumps, and in general, the model doesn’t look as one would expect.

The question would be - are there any good tutorial regarding this issue? I belive it is the lack of knowledge that bothers me, since there are many models from Zbrush transfered and rendered under 3ds Max in stunning quality.
