Problem with tiling alpha on curved mesh

I made the tileable alpha that you can see in the image below. However when I try to apply it, I am getting this weird blurring of it (circled in white) when the mesh curves.
Is there a way to overcome this issue (like changing some settings or something) or is there a better way to apply the tiled alpha so that it appears more clearly?

Is your mesh uniform? If there isn’t enough geometry in those areas, it could cause some problems.

It is. The issue seems to come up only when I try to apply the alpha along a curved path. When I apply it in a straight line, it works fine.
